Reflection blog

I never thought of myself as the type to start a business or get into entrepreneurship. However, I learned that coming up with ideas and building them as time passes is such an integral skill that many should learn, and in the end, I think that I might end up needing these skills as well.
I came up with MyMoodRadio as a pure whim; I didn't think much of it. I am a music junkie, but I'm majoring in graphic design. I wish now that I focused more on an idea that would be beneficiary to my major, but I am still glad that I got a lot out of this project.
One of the biggest things I learned is that an idea is never perfect; as time passes it develops and always gets better and better. One thing that a lot of people commented about on my idea is how I'm going to get any renevue if I don't have subscriptions or ads on the site. I just plain don't like ads in general, since I always think they take away to the website, but I thought about it and, how exactly will I make money out of it? Towards the later blogs I introduced an idea that MyMoodRadio will have a subscription-based aspect to it in which, when users pay a yearly subscription, they will get many benefits out of it; they will experience a better music-listening experience as the company gets revenue.
Another thing I learned is that technology really is an integral aspect to entrepreneurship as well. When I saw that every lecture that the professor held relates to something for MyMoodRadio, it's fascinating how we take technology for granted. Everything is just so intertwined with technology, the internet, social media, etc. Social media will promote the blog, and of course the music/mp3 aspect to technology is so important to my idea. As technology involves, my idea will involve too.
