As MyMoodRadio gains popularity, we will introduce a subscription-based upgrade for users who want an enhanced experience on MyMoodRadio. Known as MyMoodRadioX, there will be upgraded features that will allow subscribers to listen to a distraction-free, better-quality online radio. Some features include an Ad-free listening experience, personalized lists of songs that subscribers enjoy and swapping playlists of other subscribers. The best upgrade, however, will be the quality streaming of music.
When listening on the web, subscribers will experience 192K bits per second audio. That's the highest quality streaming experience on the Internet. More bits means better sounding music.
A common mistake that people will make is whether the higher quality streaming will make the streaming quicker. The answer to that is no. Most of the online services stream at 128 kbit/s. Music encoded and streamed at 192 kbit/s is far closer to CD-quality. We will pay more in transport costs, which is the reason for the subscription fee of $4/month or $24/year. Music junkies, rejoice. There really is an answer for everything.
