All good music resembles something. Good music stirs by its mysterious resemblance to the objects and feelings which motivated it.

Privacy and the ethics of what information should be revealed online plays a pivotal role with MyMoodRadio. In order to take advantage of what our company has to offer, we need to know some information of our users. After they sign up with our service, we will ask personal questions in order to appropriately find songs that will best suit them. They will type in what their favorite artists/bands are; what their current mood is; their preferred genre(s) of music and some generic information (gender, where they're from, etc.).
Although most people shouldn't be worried about the information they send to our company, it will still be put out to the public. Each user will have a profile with the containing most of the information that they gave to us for everyone to see. If a lawyer signs up on our website and says that he enjoys listening to hard metal and screamo while he's in a pissed off mood, it won't look good for those who are interested in hiring him.
In order to protect some of our users' privacy, we have the option of changing their privacy settings. That means that if they prefer that their hometown or usual keywords to now show up on their profile, it won't. We value the privacy of our users, and we wish to allow our users to customize their profiles to suit their preferences. We don't desire any online reputations to go down the drain because of our company.
